How to install the free Kindle app on an Android phone ?
You can use your Google account to access the Google Play Store and download the Kindle app for free. You can also use your existing Amazon account (see below to create a new account) to sign in to the Kindle app and buy or download eBooks from the Amazon store.
How to install the free Kindle app on your iPhone?
_Go to the App Store on your iPhone and search for the Kindle app. You can also use this link1 to download the app directly.
_Tap the Get button and wait for the app to install on your device. You may need to enter your Apple ID and password to confirm the installation.
_Open the Kindle app and sign in with your Amazon account. If you don’t have an Amazon account, you can create one for free by tapping Create a New Account.
How to buy Kindle eBooks from Amazon?
_ Open your web browser on your mobile phone and search for Amazon Kindle Store
_ Find the ebook or book that you want to buy and select Buy Now.
_ You can select the device or app you want the book sent to in the deliver to: drop-down.
_ Your book is available in your library after purchase. If it doesn’t show up, try syncing your app.
I do not have an Amazon Account. How do I create a new Amazon account?
To create an Amazon account, you need to provide some basic information, such as your name, email address, password, and phone number (optional). You also need to verify your email address and phone number by entering a one-time password (OTP) that Amazon will send you. You can create an Amazon account using your mobile phone web browser:
_Go to amazon.com and click Account & Lists at the top-right corner of the page.
_Click Create a free account under the sign-in form.
_Enter your name, email address, and password in the fields provided. Your password should be at least 6 characters long and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
_Click Create your Amazon account at the bottom of the page.
_Check your email for a verification email from Amazon and click the link to verify your email address.
_Enter your phone number (optional) and click Text me now or Call me now to receive an OTP. Alternatively, you can skip this step by clicking Do this later.
_Enter the OTP that you received and click Verify. If you didn’t receive an OTP, you can request a new one by clicking Resend OTP.
_Congratulations! You have successfully created your Amazon account. You can now buy ebooks or books from Amazon. See above.
